We are delighted to present to you the EU Film Festival- Syria 2011 in its third edition, including best award-winning European films.

Participating EU countries in the Festival have agreed to each choose one film for screening. Those films must be award-winning, recently produced in the represented country, and must reflect the excellence and innovation of European cinema. Selections were then made by those countries’ embassies to Syria or their cultural centers.

The Festival aims at increasing cultural dialogue and collaboration between EU countries and Syria, and offering an excellent cinematic experience to its public, that is fully accessible and free of charge. Through it, we also hope to celebrate the diversity of Europe, in the heart of the Cradle of Civilizations.
